Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Karrix platform as a Client (Business) — a company or individual placing delivery orders through the Karrix web portal or REST API. By registering a business account or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
01 Acceptance of Terms
By creating a Client account on Karrix, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter this agreement.
- You have authority to bind the business you represent to these Terms.
- You have read and agreed to these Terms and the Business Privacy Policy.
02 About the Platform
Karrix is a B2B last-mile delivery marketplace operating across all six governorates of Kuwait. As a Client, you use Karrix to:
- Create and manage delivery orders via the web portal or REST API.
- Broadcast orders to a network of verified Delivery Company (DC) Partners.
- Track deliveries in real time and receive photo proof of delivery.
- Manage cash-on-delivery (COD) collections through the platform.
Karrix acts as an intermediary only. Actual deliveries are carried out by independent DC Partners. Karrix is not itself a delivery company.
03 Client Account Registration
- You must provide accurate business name, contact details, and billing information during registration.
- Each account is for a single business entity. Multi-brand accounts require written approval from Karrix.
- You are responsible for all activities conducted under your account, including API-generated orders.
- Report any suspected unauthorised account access immediately to [email protected].
04 Placing Delivery Orders
When submitting a delivery order you agree that:
- All pickup and delivery address information is accurate and complete.
- The package contents comply with Kuwait law and Karrix's prohibited items policy.
- The declared package description and COD amount are truthful.
- You will ensure a representative is available at the pickup location at the agreed time.
Orders placed through the API carry the same weight and obligation as orders placed manually through the portal.
05 Prohibited Items
The following items may not be shipped through Karrix under any circumstances:
- Illegal goods, narcotics, or controlled substances.
- Weapons, ammunition, or explosives.
- Counterfeit goods or items infringing intellectual property rights.
- Live animals or human remains.
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or chemicals.
- Cash, bearer bonds, or negotiable instruments (other than as declared COD).
Violations will result in immediate account suspension and may be reported to relevant authorities.
06 Prepaid Wallet & Fees
- Clients operate on a prepaid wallet. Sufficient credit must be available before orders can be placed.
- Delivery fees are deducted from the wallet upon successful completion of each delivery.
- Failed or returned deliveries may attract a partial service fee as set out in the current pricing schedule.
- Wallet top-ups are non-refundable except where a platform error is confirmed. Refund requests must be submitted to [email protected] within 7 days.
- Karrix may update its fee schedule with 14 days' written notice to active clients.
07 Cash on Delivery (COD)
- COD amounts must be accurately declared when creating an order.
- The assigned driver collects COD from the recipient at the point of delivery.
- COD settlements are processed and transferred to the Client according to the agreed payout cycle.
- Karrix is not liable for discrepancies arising from inaccurate COD declarations by the Client.
08 API Usage
- API keys are issued per account and must not be shared with third parties outside your organisation.
- You are responsible for securing your API credentials. Karrix is not liable for orders placed via a compromised key.
- Automated systems must not place test or dummy orders against the production environment.
- Karrix may revoke API access for accounts that breach rate limits or misuse the API.
09 Delivery Disputes
In the event of a disputed delivery (lost, damaged, or undelivered package), Karrix will facilitate the dispute using the available photo proof, driver logs, and status records. Clients must raise disputes within 48 hours of the reported delivery completion by emailing [email protected] with the order ID and a description of the issue.
Karrix's role is limited to facilitating evidence review. Final liability rests with the DC Partner who accepted and executed the delivery.
10 Limitation of Liability
Karrix shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from delivery failures, platform downtime, or API errors. Karrix's maximum liability to a Client for any claim shall not exceed the total fees paid by that Client in the three (3) months preceding the claim.
11 Termination
Either party may terminate the Client relationship with 14 days' written notice. Karrix may suspend or terminate accounts immediately for material breach including fraud, prohibited shipments, or non-payment. Any wallet credit remaining at termination will be refunded minus outstanding charges within 30 days.
12 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait. Disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Kuwait.
13 Changes to These Terms
Material changes will be notified via email at least 7 days before taking effect. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance.
